Rules of Golf 2019

Governance

Unless otherwise stated in the Conditions of Competition (CiC) all golf competitions at Stanton-on-the-Wolds Golf Club are played according to the Rules of Golf administered and published by The R&A (Royal and Ancient) and The USGA (United States Golf Association).

The two organisations govern the sport of golf worldwide, operating in separate jurisdictions whilst sharing a commitment to a single code for the Rules of Golf, Rules of Amateur Status and Equipment Standards. Links on their respective websites provide a wealth of definitive information about the game in general, and changes to the Rules of Golf  coming into force in 2019 in particular.

The R&A have also published a 2019 Rules of Golf App which is available FREE on iPhone, iPad and Android
"From on-course behaviour, through a summary of the fundamental Rules to the complete Rules of Golf (effective January 2016), and a new interactive quiz, you’ll soon find the answer you are looking for."
