Juniors' Captain's Welcome

Firstly I would like to welcome all the Juniors back to the Club as well as any new Juniors that have joined us over these last few months.

I am very pleased to be the Junior Captain of Stanton-on-the-Wolds Golf Club. I hope I can lead the Team to another successful season like last year where we were promoted into the Second Division in the Inter-Club League.

In my time at this Club I have found everyone to be very pleasant and encouraging to the Juniors' Section particularly the young and upcoming Juniors.

There are plenty of events for the Juniors including matches, competitions, training sections throughout the summer holidays and fun parent and child events. Juniors are allowed to play in the Gent's and Ladies' competitions which allows them to further develop their game. This Club has a fantastic family feel throughout the Junior Section and you will never be stuck for a game.

Juniors will develop an all-rounded game at this Golf Club with the narrow fairways and excellent greens. It does not require a long hitter which will favour the Juniors.

Finally I will be very pleased if we have another great year and can leave this post on a high!

So let's go and show the Seniors how you are supposed to play golf!
